My beloved Duke,

I am sure you have been informed regarding our third son's birth. A week before this letter is sent, I gave birth to another beautiful boy. Black tresses with the same coloured irises, I am astonished at how wonderful he looks. Come to think of it, we have not decided on a name, have we?

How about Anthony? Anthony Olivier? I am quite fond of the name when I came across it. Please tell me your opinion on that name, then we can finally name him.

I miss you. I suppose your work as the Duke is occupying your time so much. Worry not, I will take care of our children. Yet I will not lie over the fact that the two elder sons misses you too. Won't you spare some time to come see them someday?

My beloved Duke,

Anthony grows to be a magnificent boy. He almost aces everything he does to the point that I am awestruck. From all his studies to many other things. As his mother, I am beyond delighted.

But I do notice that he does not particularly enjoy events where many individuals gather. I think he is not fond of noisy gatherings.

Sometimes I find him in the library. Well, I say sometimes, but in truth, Anthony is always there. If he is not there, then he is somewhere else with a book in his hands. Wherever it is serene, he will be there to spend his time. I suppose I should not disturb him in those times.

Would you mind coming home sometime to show him few of your favorite books? I am sure that he will be overjoyed by that. Also, the other two sons misses you too, and they are doing exceptionally well.

Not many expects Anthony to become the next Duke. After all, he is merely the third son, meaning he may be third in line. Even with his achievements, most nobles think that his brothers are equally as gifted as he is, turning his perfection into something standard.

No matter the fact that he may not become the next Duke, it does not particularly mean that he will not have the same education and practices similar to his elder brothers.

Our little boy only wanted to spend his times peacefully.

Unfortunate for Anthony, that cannot be achieved so easily, considering his status, so he is always chased every now and then for endless events and trainings.

I know that we both decided that Anthony will attend a private school like others, however, I can continually picture his distaste towards the amount of crowds there. Having the son of a Duke taking an education among other students... I cannot fully place myself in Anthony's shoes. As his parents, let us wish him the best of luck.

My beloved Duke,

Many nobles mentioned to me that Anthony appears emotionless. Little did they know, our precious boy loves to hide his emotions! Imagine an abundance of unknown individuals surrounding and chattering around him, how could they possibly expect him to show his true self?

I have yet to prove this correct, but I believe that he dislikes showing his true heart.

Anthony is a small boy with little words. Most of the time he will mask himself with an unstirring, motionless look. However, one time in this week, I noticed that Anthony was helping someone. I assume that he cannot stand still while there is an individual who needs aid. Unlike his usual demeanor, I saw that Anthony bravely initiated the conversation, likely in order to ensure the other's condition. Our son is incredibly charming; don't you think the same?

Another fact that I came across is that Anthony often hid his sarcastic side, but sometimes he could not contain it and accidentally became sarcastic over other's utterances. I am also speechless at how blunt he can be behind our backs! And, Anthony thinks that I am not aware of this, but he is secretly fond of teasing others who seems interesting in his eyes.

Both commoners and nobles are amazed at the fact that Anthony is graciously mannered and polite, and I would ask them, why wouldn't the Duke's son act mannered and polite? He is born to forever act as such, after all.

Even when we are gathered in one place, he never smiles. However, I found a miracle. Anthony will smile without hesitation if there is a certain individual who truly piques his interest or that individual is a source of amusement to him. It is absolutely brilliant, I wish I can see it another time.

Anthony's demeanor may be identical to what adults have, but that is merely due to his interactions with older individuals to the point that he acts the same. Should we arrange a tea party with children around his age? He should start socializing with other children and not elders.
